Archaeology of Central Asia (Vol. I)
There are rare number of Persian sources related to the archeology of Central Asia (which in ancient times was called Greater Khorasan and Transoxiana). Therefore, Dr. Seyed Mansour Sajjadi has written a work with the general theme of the history of archaeological activities in this area, which is the result of his years of research. The first volume of this book in the form of eight chapters deals with topics such as the boundaries of Central Asia and its historical geography, natural and ecological features, history of archaeological research in West Central Asia and cultural developments in this region, Paleolithic, Middle Stone Age, Neolithic, Neolithic and Bronze periods, which are explained with related pictures, maps and tables.
