A Introduction to Mullā Sadrā's Theosophical System (Vol.III)
This book, which has been written with the aim of deepening monotheistic ideas, better understanding the high religious teachings, and introducing the tradition of Islamic thought, is the third volume of an introduction to the system of Sadra’s wisdom. The first volume covered the topics of ontology and cosmology, the author in the second volume dealt with the topics of epistemology and theology, and this book is also about psychology or anthropology of transcendent wisdom. Psychology is the last of the five sections in this collection, which is the most difficult part of transcendent wisdom. An important feature of psychology is that in addition to philosophical rules, we also deal with internal experience. It is obvious that for any philosopher to adapt these experiences to his accepted philosophical rules, it is necessary to explain them within the framework of these rules, otherwise, the validity of these rules will be in doubt. This requires that their weaknesses be found and eliminated, and this is the approach that Sadr al-Muta’allehin has towards the former philosophers, especially Avicenna.
